Donnell can currently be seen in his own Netflix Special, Donnell Rawlings: Too Soon, which was

produced by Dave Chappelle. Other notable credits include the highly anticipated HBO series Winning

Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty, BET’s The Twenties, Black Ma/a Family on STARZ, and of course,

as Dez the Barber in Pixar’s award-winning film Soul. Donnell is also known for his role on HBO’s The

Wire, Netflix's series The Degenerates, and he makes regular appearances with on The Joe Rogan

Experience. It shouldn’t come as a surprise that Donnell was honored with the Redd Foxx Award from

The African-American Humor Awards in 2021.
